Me and my baggy khakis were doing a final hang out in my old, empty apartment. I’m all moved into the new house, and I turn this apartment over on the 30th of June. Didn’t think i’d feel so sentimental and sad to depart, but damn it, I do. However, this needed to happen in order for me to move forward in a lot of other areas in my life. Over time, the apartment became cluttered, and if it’s one thing I cannot do is work in clutter. I need space for clarity.
As you can see, the apt. looks quite clean. My goal was to leave it in the same condition I got it. So, I returned and cleaned up nicely. Afterwards, I pulled up a stool and sat for a while reminiscing about the times we shared here. I”ll truly miss living in the city. But, nothing lasts forever, and coming from someone who gave up her livelihood to pursue the unknown, this is a piece of cake. It’s been almost a year since I quit my job, and still no regrets. I’m looking forward to the new adventures and journeys that my life will take on.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
xoxo
