Three of my favorite statement necklaces for 2012. At times I love to throw on a beautiful necklace with a simple tee shirt or vest and boyfriend jeans. All on their own, they say a lot. Hence, the term, Statement neckwear.
Note: In my opinion, when wearing a necklace that’s loud, wearing your hair up is always a good idea. Show off the neck with no distractions like, long hair and dangling earrings; studs work well. Simple attire like tees and tanks and even vests work really well to illustrate the beauty these necklaces have to offer. It’s the best time to be a minimalist. I wore number 2 with a sleeveless, lace dress (worn here ) and my hair down. Later, I pulled my hair back to emphasize the necklace. (don’t have a pic of that). But check out a video I did on how to wear a statement necklace, here.
Picture 1 and 2 are from Anthropologie | Picture 3 is a Juicy Couture piece, which I purchased in Spain 7 years ago. I gave it to my 21 year old, who in turn gave it to my 8 year old. So now I burrow it when I need to.
