If you’re into style and fashion chances are at some point you’ve wanted to attend a New York fashion week show by your favorite designers. Ever since I saw my first commentary by the amazing fashion Editor and journalist, Elsa Klensch, I’ve wanted to experience the excitement first hand.
Of course, it was never a priority (and still isn’t). I had loads of other, more pressing things to do in my life, like be a mom and develop my career. And, I did. But, over the last year and a half or so, my life has taken a new direction, and that desire to witness a live show came bubbling back.
Up until the last two months, I lived in Manhattan, five stops from Lincoln Center (I do miss the city). So, after fashion week was moved from Bryant park to the Center in 2010, it was easy for me to see some of the exciting street shenanigans, first hand while traveling through the vicinity.
This year I finally got to see some of the madness up close and personally, when I attended the fashionable mom’s show, hosted by CCW Creative, (an agency founded by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, which provides creative collaboration within the spheres of fashion, beauty and entertainment) and The MOMS (Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein – a multi-platform lifestyle brand and event company with exposure on the web, television and in print).
