Hey beauties! Hope you all are enjoying a great start to the week.
So, here we are almost 1/4 of the way into November, and I purchased 3 Phillip Lim x Target handbags online, back on September 16th. I received the sweater, which is featured in this blog post, but did not get my bags. I called Target on the day the sweater was shipped out and they assured me that the other items, the bags were going to be shipped out that very week.
Two weeks came and went and no sign of the bags. Needless to say, I put in another call and after much fumbling around and being placed on hold, the representative stuttered to me, “sorry ma’am we’re all out.” There was a moment of silence, which I needed in order not to let loose the scream that started bubbling from the tip of my toes. There is no word for the emotion I felt then and there. You would think I just bought and lost a Berkin handbag. It’s just that I was in the store on the launch day and could have picked up the bags, because there were a few in the color I wanted. But, I’d already purchased them online – at least I thought I did – around 12:15am. Anyway, I took some more deep breaths, said thank you and hung up.
Was it worth making a fuss over? Of course not. But, if only for a moment, I had to vent. The moment passed and I was over it. Glad I bought the one black bag and this sweater.
In the meantime, check out how I wore the sweater. Pics were taken in early October.
