Scooting off to a beautiful tropical climate is always on my mind during this time of year. After being worn out by the wicked winter weather, the body just wants to relax, relate and release, and freely soak up some vitamin D.
It’s a time to pack smart and light, and since the beach and evening hang outs are the norm for my spring get aways, these are the essential things I always pack.
A long or short sun dress or shorts for evening dinners; never anything else. I happen to love this particular dress.
A bathing suit for the long days that I always spend on the beach.
Sun Screen with SPF to protect against the damaging effects of the sun’s rays. I usually don’t use the same sunscreen for my face that I use on my body. I always use a moisturizer with sunscreen for my face
Sunglasses with protective lens are a must. The suns’s harmful UV Rays can also cause damage to your eyes.
For a double dose of protection a wide brim hat like the panama will work wonders to ward off the suns rays from your face.
A beach bag for all the other stuff that’s not shown in the photo; towel, phone, wallet, book, crossword (i’m a junkie), aloe vera gel, hat (which is usually on my head), flip flops.
After having my feet stored away in cold weather shoes, freedom for the feet is fantastic.
