The Fab Forties Men Inspired Style

Oh man. It’s all about male inspired wear this month with the fab 40’s gals.

There’s a man deep, deep down inside of me that loves to be released every once in a while, and since i’ve mostly neglected him this year, this post was the perfect time to make up. And as you can see, my outfit is satisfyingly, manish. Dick – my androgynous, alter ego must be very happy.

As usual, the fab forties ladies added their own stylish and super cool touch to their outfits to bring out a variety of unique styles. Love them all.

I’m so honored to welcome Jennie of A Pocketful of Polka Dots as our first guest blogger. She’s amazing and as you can see, she know how to add a manly flavor to her look. Don’t you just love those shoes and the tie? Love it all.

Vroom. Vroom. Jane of My Midlife Fashion is chic and classy as always. The biker jacket is banging. I absolutely adore her look.

Ann of Kremb De La Kremb stuns in this male shirt with a twist, an off the shoulder twist at that. I would never have taught of it. She looks amazing and she’s so very creative with all the DIY projects. I absolutely love it.

Sheela of Sheela Writes is always original.  And here’s a song for you Sheela. “Oh, oh Sheela. Let me love you ’til the morning comes.” A song by Ready For The World. I love this because this outfit is taking me back to some of the happiest days of my life. This is awesome. Now as I write, I’m listening to the song on Spotify.

I love your look is elegant, with a touch of style that you love. Trousers and vest are cute. The masculine touch gives it a perfect touch of sophistication. The more coquettish Dixie.
